The Trentino Belcanto Academy aims to be a meeting point for young talents from around the world, high-level teachers, cultural institutions, and local communities.
Opera thus becomes not just a heritage to be preserved, but a living art form, capable of creating dialogue, opportunities, and new experiences for artists and audiences.
The Trentino Belcanto Academy was born from the desire to create an international project dedicated to the training and development of young artists in the field of opera.
Over the years, the Academy has developed an original model that combines study, artistic development, and performance activities, offering participants the opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, such as vocal coaches, conductors, directors, managers, agents, artistic directors, musicologists, vocologists etc.
From this experience, the International Festival of the Valsugana & the Vigolana were also born. The Festival focuses on the art of opera, and it is a natural evolution of the training program and a privileged space, where artists can interact with the public and the professional world of the stage.
Today, the Academy and Festival represent the two souls of a single cultural project that continues to grow thanks to collaboration with the local community and also with institutions, local organizations, and international partners.
